Does anybody know of any good AppleScript tutorial websites?

I too am also interested in learning applescript programing but have been on a few tutorial sites and learning anything from looking at a screen for ages is really frustrating and i'm gonna buy this book
the missing manual

can anyone reccomend a better book?

I too would be interested in learning more about Apple Script. I have bought a couple OS X books to help me get started with the OS, but neither of them cover scripts.

For starters and learning the basics of Applescript you can download this PDF book for free.

It covers the basics where as the books you buy will assume you have some knowledge of the beginner stuff which is what this PDF guide shows you.
