Office '08 Won't Open Files Correctly

Well its no surprise that Office 2008 is not opening certain documents correctly:

PowerPoint opens presentations and skews graphs and pictures until it is illegible or disappeared.

Excel won't even open a spreadsheet.

Anyone else having problems such as above?

What software was used to create the aforementioned files? Another version of Office? Keynote, Numbers?

No problems here Word, Excel etc operate as should. Have you downloaded all the four (or is it five now) upgrade since 2008 was released?
