Needed: 7 port usb splitter...

I am looking for a 7 port USB splitter for my mackbook pro. It must be..

-externally powered
-be able to charge my iphone 3g when when the splitter is not connected to the laptop (and when the unit is later plugged into the computer, it will sync and continue charging)
-as fast as possible

Just get an externally powered USB hub! That should do the trick!

I hear that not all of them will do that thought, i was hoping someone would know already.

Go to Hubs - Networking and search there. My preference would be for the Cyberpower or Targus brand, both of which can be positioned vertically. If you'd like a real 'fun' one, take a look at the LaCie Huby.

I don't need a 7 port hub, I have one from Staples that was $35 Cdn. and has worked non stop for 3 years but that Lacie... I am dying to know what the flower petal kit looks like that it comes with.
