Remote Working - Best Way?

Ok, so my boss just got an imac and now wants to work from home. What is the best way to do this which will make the screen blank. Tried screen sharing, but as this is just VNC its no good.

Is there something like RDC that locks the screen when a user logs in?

Maybe Apple remote?

you are probably going to have to set up a VPN. that is how it is usually done.
