configure Safari so that a link will automatically open a new tab

From Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

Kill Safari (cmd-quit) and relaunch. It should now open new links in new tabs

alright so i'm assuming this is way too much to ask but is there a list of common code out there for terminal? i never learned to program anything and if it wasn't for this forum i would have never known that, since there's no option to do it in safari>preferences, heh.
