Well, as you may or may not know - i have had quite the issue with not being able to tag in iTunes, rather tagging MP3's in iTunes works, but once the tracks are reloaded, all the info disappears and goes back to the way the tracks were
Well, i have the solution!
In iTunes, open preferences, click the advanced tab, and make your iTunes Music Folder Location, the actual location of your Music - Quite a simple location, but sometimes overlooked - By doing this your tabs will stay when edited
There was a big issue with this and no one seemed to know the answer - I have found several threads, discussing the problem:
