Can't open exe files on mac

Newbie to the mac here -

I just downloaded a program and all seems ok BUT it had a keygen.exe file with it - Mac doesn't open .exe files

What must I do?

13" MBP, 2.53 Ghz, 4 Gb Ram, 500 Gb HDD
either get a program like crossover or wine, or open it up on windows via bootcamp. Osx doesnt recognize .exe files.

.exe files are Windows executable files.

Also, just to let you know, talking about downloaded programs with keygens is a good way to get banned from this site...

It could be a program to dynamically create images of door keys if the user were to be, say, a locksmith?
