It's a perfectly legitimate and sly place to put the booth.

That being said it does show a level of desperation by blocking view of the store to an entire side of the aisle.

Oh, come on, Microsoft, you're better than this. Not, better than Apple, but better than this! I think both Apple AND Microsoft are taking blows at each other. The new Apple ads- are they supposed to be offensive? And this, Microsoft is literally getting in the way of Apple's business. We should have a debate between Steve Ballmer and Steve Jobs. xD

Isn't it odd that the message at the top of the poster is "Life without walls"

Yeah, I don't think that walled in, windowless box conveys that message very well. :p

Microsoft is getting a little too desperate. I mean seriously, this is ridiculous.

It is, December. Showing us a commercial with a bunch of people saying "I'm a PC, and I eat pancakes" Or "I'm a PC and I have a beard" etc. will not make me purchase a PC. No, Microsoft, it's not "humorous" either. So be it, however, that Microsoft continues on with their lame and unconvincing commercials.

Maybe the store is a reseller rather than an Apple store?

My nearest resellers both sell PC and Windows gear, have one window with Mac gear and one with PC. You know the old Latin proverb - a buck is a buck is a buck!
