Sound issue

i bought my MBP this past may, and lately i've been having issues with the sound output. for some reason, at times the speakers start crackling and the volume turns on and off.

I'm new, about my little MBPro Zebedia

I would like to let him on (ex. plying music with external case) while he is close. Usually when I close he, he go to sleep automatilcally....
Anybody know how? Or were to post this question?

download a program called InsomniaX it will keep your laptop awake while it is closed.

As for the OP, could it possibly be your speakers? possibly the jack going to the speakers. Or maybe even the speaker output itself on your laptop. I have seen many headphone ports go bad before, if you have a Apple Care Apple will take care of you.

Try different speakers/headphones see if that works. If not it is most likely your port
