My biggest passion: Tarantulas.

I just wondered if any fellow Mac owners also had tarantulas. Here is my list:

-2 Big fat Chilean Rose hairs, over 6" in diameter
- 1 Brazillian Pink Birdeater, over 8" in diameter
-1 Mexican Red Knee, 5" in diameter
-1 sub-juvenile Singapore Blue, already a vibrant colour of purple
-1 juvenile Trinidad Cheveron

I'm curious to see if anyone has a Tarantula. :D

No, I can hardly stand the thought of having a small spider that crawls in my basement. :p

You should post up some pics. I wouldn't get one as a pet, but I find tarantulas fascinating.

Same here. And no thing or person (aside from my kids) lives in my house without paying rent. I am obsessive about killing them - and I like to find new and interesting ways to do so.

I used to have a pet Black Widow, but it appears to have gotten out of it's tank.

I HATE spiders, especially big ones! I wouldn't kill it though, I would run!

My friend had a pet scorpion once though, and that thing was cool! :)

I like spiders, and I generally try to not kill them when I see them. They keep away the really annoying bugs. That said, I don't think I'd keep something quite as large as a tarantula around. They have to be kept in a tank, which kind of defeats the utility. And they like a bit too much territory for me to live side by side with one peacefully minus the tank.

I'm gonna have to go with leecho on this one. My fear of spiders is only eclipsed by my interest. I'd never own one though.

Post pics for sure!

I have wild ones.

I taunted one while walking the dog the other day too. I help the end of the leash in front of it and it reared up to attack it

I'd love to have one as a pet but don't think the rest of my house would... Some pictures would be fantastic!

I had a tarantula. I gave it to my cousin because I was running out of room for his terrarium in my room. When I finally get my own place I want a chameleon.

I like big spiders so when I kill them I know they're dead. As opposed t little ones where you are never quite sure if you got them are not.

Ugh, I hate spiders.

Cool pic though.

But still, ugh =)
