So, i just bought Spore yesterday and was really excited to get down to playing.
after installing the game, i had to patch it... and the patch took quite a long time. after that, it worked perfectly fine.
but last night, i quite spore, shut down my computer and went to restart it this morning to play and when i tried to open it, i got the intro white box on the screen that says "Spore" but after that it switched to the black screen, it wouldn't go any further.
my computer is not frozen because i can move my mouse when i'm in the black screen of death. but i can't force quit the game.
i'm running a new macbook pro with 4 gigs of ram...so it should run fine.
can anyone help?
