heres the deal. i have a 80gb video ipod. its been through a lot these past 3.5 years and now problems are starting to arise. a few months ago, my audio jack acted funny and only produced sound through one speaker. i figured that it was junk, so i bought a replacement jack and installed. it worked perfectly. then yesterday, the problem started up again! im thinking this cant be a coincidence. anyone have any advice?

dude. 3.5 years. I think ur due 4 an upgrade. The cost to repair the old one is not worth it. Because then soon something else will go wrong and cost more money!! The 120 gb classic is a great deal at $249. If u can't afford that, then repair the old one. Also make sure that the audio output device is not at fault.
