Does anybody know if either the new imac or mini mac can support two displays?

Yeah the new Imac G5 supports a second display via a Mini DVI port on the rear of the mac. You will need the appropriate adapter from apple. I'm sure the part number is M8639.

Apple in their wisdom have locked down the graphics card on the G5 Imacs to only allowing video mirroring, although there is a workaround to use and extended desktop.

PowerMac G5 Dual 2GHz (June 2004), 2.5GB, Airport, black 5G iPod 30GB, white MacBook 2.0 2GB
The Mac mini only has one display connector, therefore only accepts one display...

The Apple webssite says it supports "Coherant" displays with the DVI connector. Does this mean two (or More)?

I have never heard of a single DVI connector being able to run 2 monitors.

I thought the iMac G5 had a VGA port only.
