Hide gesture on trackpad?

Hey,

New to mac here, just coming off windows. And i have found that hide basically replaces minimize. (i know you can also minimize in mac, but due to the lack of taskbar its not as intuitive).

I got the new mac with the fancy trackpad which is great, som im wandering if theres a gesture for "hide"

Or if you can create one...3 fingers stroke down would be ideal i think..

4 fingers up is the closest you're going to get to 'hiding' it, but apart from that there's no software update that will allow you to customise the multi-touch gestures on the trackpad, which is a shame really.
