Heard distinct "click" and screen went dead while downloading file using battery power. Machine (just out of warranty) is now only operable using mains power. If unplugged, then it shuts down. Battery was indicating 80% charge prior to failure. Date/time data incorrect on startup. Is this likely to be a battery or internal issue? Any remedial procedures recommended?

This happened to mine as well.Think its a common problem with Mac batterys. Fail just outside the warrenty!!
Plus they sell them for £99 in the shop. Dont know what to do now either.
