security using alltel wireless USB

Hello,
I get online using an Alltel USB device. I've just moved into a townhome and I'm worried someone can tap into my connection or my mac for that matter. Can someone give me advice on how to lock down my connection and my mac on the whole?

You really need to contact Alltel technical support and ask. However, I believe the wireless stream is encoded and unless one has the USB device along with the correct algorithm they can not hack into your connection. But like I said above, contact their support to make sure.
