would like to know if there is a way to delete the url history in safari. i asked at an apple store and they basically told me i should be using "private browsing" and then walked away before i could question them further! thanks for the great customer service apple!
i have reset safari, deleted ...com. safari.plist in the users folder.
if someone could help me out or point me to a previous thread. thanks

Click 'History' on the top bar. Scroll all the way down. The last option should be 'Clear History".

And to take it a step further, even if you clear your history, you can use spotlight to see sites that you have already deleted.

Go to System Preferences>Spotlight and uncheck "Webpages"
