When I work with a graphics program, such as Photoshop Elements, if I open a documents file, and PSE is full screen, there is no way to keep the documents on top and visible, it disappears behind PSE. In Windows, I downloaded software programs that would enable an application to always stay on top. Is something similar available for the Mac? This is really frustrating. Thanks for the help.

Photoshop Elements has a really weird full-screen interface. There are lots of other graphics applications (GraphicConverter, Pixelmator, even the full version of Photoshop) that have much more normal windowed interfaces.

Command-Tab should still let you switch between programs, though.
