Fatal error in virtual machine monitor-Parallels when trying to install Ubuntu.

I do not want to use bootcamp first of all. I am trying to install Ubuntu 8.04 on parallels but I keep getting this error how can I fix it?

Can't help you with Parallels, however, if you use VMWare Fusion instead, they have a downloadable pre-built version of Ubuntu 8.04. Very easy installation and setup.

As for your current problem, log onto the Parallels user forum and post your problem there. Parallels Desktop and Parallels Server Support
