Something stuck in my cd slot

I had my macbook in my backpack and i ended up getting a gum wrapper in my cd thing. I tried to get it out with tweezers but that just pushed it more in and now I can't see it at all. cds wont work now cuz of this and i can't get it out. do you know if there is a way to open up the cd slot? or could i send it into apple or something? i still have my warranty i dunno lol

If you live near an Apple store, take it in and see what they say. They may have a way... I always get funny about doing stuff myself... I normally break things! :)

you could try a forced eject.. but i dont know if that will make the wrapper go in further..
basically, restart your computer, and hold down the mouse key.. i think thats how a forced eject works..
but yeah, dont know if that will make it go in further...
