2 X Questions From A Switcher

Hi everyone

Picked my Macbook up on Tuesday and loving it, dont know how to use it but loving it. Got a really good deal as it was the shops last white unit with the 2.4ghz processer before the next generations were delivered.

My question is, I cant seem to watch movies that were moved from my PC to an external hardrive and then onto the Mac, tried DivX but no joy,

Install VLC, it will play 99% of stuff out there.

You might also need to install codecs. Download and install Perian and Flip4Mac, that should cover essentially every codec you will need.
