Itunes Button Assign

MacBook Pro 13" 2.26GHz 250G HD 4G RAM-iBook G4 14" 1.42Ghz 1.5G RAM-iPod Nano 4G-iPod Classic 120G
I have an Ibook G4, and Itunes 8, and ive noticed that on newer Mac's, some of the 'F' buttons (on the top row of the keyboard) have specially assigned functions for iTunes (Play/Pause, Next/Previous etc)

I was wondering if there was a way of doing this for my Ibook.
