does removing and upgrading the hard disk void warranty?

hi all does it void my macbooks warranty if i remove and upgrade the hard drive? currently i have a 120gb in there but wish to put 250 or better in but still have 4 months of warranty left

For the regular Macbook, no, it does not void the warranty. In fact, Apple has posted directions on how to do so on its website.

oh goodie i was thinkin i was gonna have to wait till january to upgrade it but think i will do it soon now
