Hi,
I have just bought a damaged powerbook G4 ALI (A1095) that is missing the top case and keyboard. When I bought it I was told that the Hard drive was faulty, which I have replaced but cannot test as I cannot power up yet.
Anyway while checking over the PowerBook I noticed the black locking tab on the keyboard connector was missing. Is there another way to secure the keyboard cable without having to repalce the logic board?
If I plug a usb keyboard and mouse in is there a way to power on the unit with out the power button?
Sorry for so many questions on a first post but I am learning very fast.
