hey all,

on my 2nd mac book had trouble with my previous screen so they replaced my comp,

but now ive installed and recalibrated my machine but it looks to dark help im not sure what to do it dont seem to work right!!

this site seems so dark its unreal ive tried re calibrating but it keeps coming back to the same

and its full brightness!?

help!

That looks fine on my screen, what gamma is your monitor set to

Color Calibration in OS X | 32packets

with the above you can choose 1.8 gamma (standard in print production) oe 2.2 (what windows uses), but 1.8 will give you a lighter screen, but check the other steps as well

System Preferences>Displays>Color> and select "Color LCD" which is the default profile shipped with your Mac.
