Ok,
so I have heard from other mac owners that this is not too rare of a problem- "the rebuilding of your thumbnail cache" popup. When I first got this I had a positive and a negative answer, so I went with the negative and there was no affect. After, maybe 6 months later I got the same question upon opening iPhoto, this time with both positive answers. So, since both were positive and I could not get rid of the box (at all) I chose one. It ended up deleting my entire library from iphoto. I found all the originals in some files but they were a lot smaller of a size and the ones that I had modified were gone.
Anyone have similar problems and could give me some information on what to do next time I encounter this problem? How do I make the originals the original size? And why the **** does the program do that??
