Anyone else here vote by mail/absentee ballot? I have for years and just filled mine out for the upcoming election.

Out in the mail tomorrow!

Doesn't matter who or what you vote for, make sure you vote!

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. It's making me nervous, cause I want to get it out of the way. I'm fine with voting at my local precinct, but if they were to ever run out of paper ballots, I'm not comfortable with casting a vote on a Diebold machine.

I vote mail in. It's a lot more easier and I can do it in the comfort of my own home. I also get to see the props and what not and google them to find out more information.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I could have sworn I've read, seen or heard that absentee ballots were only counted if the election was extremely close. Is that true?

That may vary state by state. I know California counts them all as long as they are received by election day.

I like voting at the polls. I don't know why, it's just something I've always done and I get a better feel for participating. I guess it has something to do with going out of my way to exercise my right to vote :D

We only vote for Presidents? I wonder how those 500+ guys down the street from the White House and the thousands of other public officials whose actions impact my daily life get their jobs....

i have to vote by mail. i have no choice. however this is the first election that i am voting in since being in the navy. if i would have known it was that easy to register and vote i would have done so. also now that i am older and care about more things that affect me and my family, i feel the need to vote rather than doing just because you are supposed to.
