TextMate is pissing me off! Please help.

I recently switched to textmate from RadRails for my ruby development. The problem I enounter is that whenever I press enter for a new line, the indentation goes to the left most part of margin. Usually in other editors if you are inside a set of parenthesis or blocks, the indentation level remains the same unless you explicitly change it. How to make this auto indentation on textmate possible? Thanks a lot.
