Hi there

I'm a newbie to Mac, and trying to persevere with Safari.

I can't seem to find where I can store and save passwords for when I return to sites.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to do so in Safari and how I set it to do that.

Thanks :)

I've often found this functionality random with Safari. It occasionally asks you if you want to store a password on your keychain, and in theory, when you go back there, it auto fills the password.

However this behaviour is not consistent by any means; firstly it doesn't always ask you this (NYU portal is a classic) and even when it does, often you have to type your username before the password autofills. It does not handle this as well as Firefox for example.
