Screen is fuzzy is it my logic board

hello,

please help i have a mac g4 power book, the screen started with just a couple of verticle red lines but now it is really difficult to see anything, there are line everywhere I can still see that everything is working can start use program etc just that the screen is all fuzzy...could it be the logic board or could it be something else...any suggestions on how to fix it!! warranty is finished it is about 5 years old

Does it look distorted, or fuzzy? I'm getting a powerbook with a distortion problem and it's a $35 cable that's the culprit.
