I have just bought the DVD RW Recorder and cannot seem to get it to work. Its connected via USB but it doesn't appear on the desktop at all. I know its connected ok because I've inserted a disc into it which then appears on the desktop.
Has anyone got any knowledge about this recorder and can tell me how to get it to work?

Open preferences in Finder -> On the "General" tab, make sure all the items are checked: "Show on Desktop".
