iMacG5 Failure to launch

My mac a couple of days ago just wont start up! i did nothing to it.. it just randomly wont start up. I press the button and all i hear is this llittle click.. thats all it does! no screen no nothing! doesnt even start up!!! .. please help!

Did u hear the fan attempt to start to rotate

Sounds like a power supply issue. You could check the diagnostic LEDs on the logic board but sometimes it gives a false diagnosis. Give us some specs.
