Powerbook G4 wont boot past apple logo and spinning gear

K so my mac is running on 10.4.11,and it wont boot up past the apple logo and the spinning gear thing, i have been searching for help but cant find any.. Anyways, i did try a couple things, first i reset the PRAM, didnt work. Then i went into single user mode and tried to fix it but when i loaded it, it gave me an error

load of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 5, trying /sbin/mach_init
hfs_swap_HFSPlusBRInternalNode: catalog record #21 keylength=6 expected=10
node=12408 fileID=4 volume=Franki's HD device=root_device
Load of /sbin/launchd failed, errno 5

it wont let me type in any command, so i dont know what to do.

any help would be awesome..

Silver M1 iMac 512/16/8/8 macOS 11.6
Boot from the Tiger install DVD by holding down 'C" after chime. Go to Utilities>Disk Utility and run Repair Disk from there. You cannot repair the drive you are booted from.
