Paint substitute

So I'm just wondering what you guys use instead of MS Paint?

I've looked and I'm relatively sure there isn't anything already on my MacBook.
Is there anything out for download?

I use Pixelmator for 2d painting. It's a pretty good drawing program. At the moment it's $72.57 Canadian Dollars. None of the free paint programs is worth the effort of downloading.

the persons need were very small, he just wanted a MS paint replacement.
Pixelmator would be an extreme overkill for them.
That is why I suggested Paintbrush, it is exactly what they asked for.

Seashore

Seashore for Mac is miles better than Paintbrush.
eg. Paintbrush won't let you rotate or use a color picker.
Seashore will. It is very easy to use. It is much better.

I use Gimp. It's not as good as Paint but its the only Mac solution I've found.
