E Mail program has lost all account settings

I have just had a power failure and for some reason Mail seem to have lost my account settings and al e mails, I have time machine connected, is there a way to restore my e mail program to the way it was, thanks

pretty ez fix with time machine

maybe a late reply but it's likely a bad preferences file.
ez fix
turn off mail
rename /~(youruser)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist (notice the mod date)
have time machine restore /~(youruser)/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
from a functional time.
