Hi,

I'm using Transmit as my FTP client. Every time in connect to my host I get this error message:

Could not read reply from control connection: Connection reset by peer.

I get frustrated then I tried using Cyberduck, to my surprise I got connected to my host easily. I'm just wondering, I paid for Transmit then I can't connect?!?

What does this mean? Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks. :)

Hmm I'm not quite sure, but I do know that Panic has pretty awesome customer support, so perhaps see if they have an idea?

If you find out what is up do come back and let us know as it will help someone else in the future. I have been using Transmit for at least 3-4 years now and never had an issue connecting anywhere. I am quite interested in what is going on!

It may be a firewall setting on your machine or a connection setting that needs to be changed. I use filezilla, it's free and very easy to use. FileZilla - Client Download
