Is it possible that once you install SL, your computer can take more RAM? I really don't know what sets the max RAM if it's the computer or if its the OS that can't read it. Please I know its a stupid question but I really wanna know

I don't think so, that's more of a hardware limitation.

Well, I wouldn't say zero to do with the operating system since a 32-bit OS is unable to fully access anything over 3.3GB of RAM whereas a 64-bit OS can access oodles more. However, in this context, that's not applicable since Leopard is 64-bit and doesn't have the 32-bit limitation.
