Spoke to my service provider, changed browsers, checked my speed, it's just not the same as it used to be, would there be something i can do on my Emac to make things faster? :[

It is funny you should say that as my internet has been slow for the last week. I clear the cache in safari and it seems to have done the trick. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Give your OS a good going-over with Onyx. Then try a couple of speed tests using the free links like www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/.webloc and www.speedtest.net/.webloc. If, after a cache - and other - cleanup, and the tests, your internet speed is still down, try another router and keep pestering your ISP - there may be technical faults in the DSL connection system.

Is that the plan for which you're signed up? I mean, I'm on a fairly basic plan of 256 in/128 out, which is okay for me, but it's slow by comparison with the figures you've listed.

Keep up that system and cache maintenance with Onyx, or whatever other utility you might want to use. Onyx is arguably the best.

Just read this...I too have speed problems with internet. But, I don't know how to empty the cache (don't even know what this is!) nor how to use Onyx. Do I just do a search of help menu?

If you are using Safari go to Safari in the menu bar and click. Then click on 'Empty Cache'.

Firefox > Preferences >Network and click on 'Empty Cache'.
