I have an iMac that I have been using for quite some time. It is one of those that are all 1 piece and you can carry them in 1 hand. Indigo is the color and it was produced quite a while agio. I am running OSX 10.3 I believe. It has a front loading slot for reading CD's but I cannot burn them.
I just looked it up and it is a slot loading iMac G3...indigo

I am looking for an external dvd burner so I can copy files...music and the like no videos at this time but have absolutely no idea which ones to look for.

Any assistance as to what I should be looking for would be apprreciated.
If you need more info on my computer let me know and I will try to provide it.

Thank you
