Sorry if this has been posted before but how do you know when you need a new graphics/video card? Or what are some of the signs showing that you need a new card?

Thank You

Thank You for the quick reply. I have a 4 yr old. Mac G4. Thankfully I do not have any of these symptons.

The problem I do have is that I'm a heavy volume online poker player. And recently the site (PokerStars) had a software update and since then I'm having problems.

Basically, I am allowed to log in and register and unregister in tournaments without any problems. The problem occurs is when the tournament starts I am automatically being "sat out" meaning I'm in the tournament but it's not letting me play.

I've been playing for a # of yrs and I never have had this problem until their recent software upgrade.

I have contacted Support for that site I have sent them screen shots and zip file as per requested. They are now sending it to their Mac Specialist. They said it would be a couple of days before he/she contacted me. But it has been a week now and Support has sent me another email saying that I'm in a que and also that the Mac Specialist is "not always on shift." <------Could not believe I go this response from them.

From what I know no one else who uses Mac on that site has had this problem. (Because if it was a big problem it definately would of been posted on the poker forums.)

Even though I am computer illiterate I am trying to find out if my computer has a problem or it's on their end. I even went to another Poker Site and downloaded a played a couple of hands in the "play money" and did not have any problems.

I am just trying to troubleshoot here. Someone suggested that it could be a Graphics Card problem. Like I said I'm a computer noob but it seems like if that was the problem then my screen would be messed and I would not be having any of the problems above.

Sorry If this got posted underneath the wrong forum but I'm trying to figure if there is anything on my end that I could do.

Thank You
