HI....I have a problem with my screen. When I open the lid of my Mac there's a blue line on my screen. I have to move back and forward the screen until it disappears. Maybe is a loose cable or contact. I can't show it using a screenshot. So I think it is a contact. Any idea....please help me!

Hi there,

I think you're experience the early form of gpu failure, as the macbook pros are known for these problems. I think what has happened is the mac has run really hot and that it has gradually de-soldered from the motherboard.

Apple are running a scheme that repairs macbook pros faulty nvidia cards, your machine has to be within it's first two years from purchase date.

I think in the future, try and run a fan application (fan control) and put it on full blast (3500rpm).

Derek.
