I have a problem...

1 - First Time I set-up my gmail account with MacMail, the client retreived all my old e-maisl... (1500) even if were already read. (That was perfect for me)

2- For a unknown reason, one day, my Gmail account (In MacMail) was always displaying that there was 1 unread mail. But there was not. Even in the web gmail there was no unread mail.

3- I was in the incapacity to resolve this issue so I tried to delete my Gmail account in MacMail to and re set-up. (so the ?%$ 1 unread mail would be gone)

4- It was gone but... MacMail did not retreived all my olds mails. It seems like it retreived only the mails that never been downloaded with the client.

It's a problem for me because I often need to refer to old e-mails in my work and now I have no choice of log-in in the gmail web.... not funny.

Is anyone have a idea how to resolve this ???

Thank you

Log into Gmail and under the POP settings you can determine whether clients should download any new mails coming in, or all mails.

Or use IMAP instead!
