Small security problem

I´ve been looking everywhere, but I am wondering if there is a way to password access to a specific folder, so that only I may enter it, as I share my beautiful mac with my roommate. (Who is less than trustworthy )
The password to the useraccount isn´t enough.
Any ideas?
