I enabled fast user switching on my iMac and noticed that when I switch users the wireless disconnects (when I click on the airport icon, it says that the connection is still there, but I can't open webpages, check email, etc.). I can solve the problem each time by turning airport off and then on again, but that seems suboptimal. Additionally, I've noticed that my wifi frequently won't connect even when I don't switch (but have switching enabled). I especially see this when I get up in the morning. Again, turning airport off then on again fixes it.
So, I disabled fast user switching and haven't had any wifi problems since. Anyone else have this issue or know what, if anything, I can do? Thank you.
