Hello,

I am a college student and recently purchased a MacBook Pro. I installed Microsoft Office 2008 with it, but I have run into a problem with PowerPoint. Basically, I want to copy an image from a website and paste it into a slide in PowerPoint - but I cannot seem to do this! When I tried to Google my question, the response I got was that I should be able to drag the image from the website and drop it into my slide; this does not work, however, because when I do so all that comes up in the slide is the web address of the image. I have even tried this with multiple images, and I have the same problem.

How should I fix this? Thanks!

Drag the image to your desktop (aka download the image) then insert it from your desktop (or wherever you saved it) into your powerpoint presentation.
