Hi there I have just bought a WD My Passport Essential 320 gig external drive. I am using the drive to store only RAW, DNG and JPEG files which I create in Photoshop. I am wondering what I should format my drive to in order to store these files and how do I do it. I am unsure what I should format my drive to in order to both read and write the files. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks

Easy, if you want to share the drive with PCs, then FAT 32 is the format to use

If you just want the best format for OS X then Mac OS Extended (journalled)
