NewEgg vs. OWC

First, is PC 5300 (says WILL work with my MacBook) the same as PC2 5300 (doesn't explicitly say if it'll work in my MacBook) when it comes to RAM sticks??

I have a MacBook 1.83Ghz Intel Core Duo 512MB RAM and I'm looking to upgrade to 2GB RAM. Which retailer -- NewEgg or OWC -- is better?

NewEgg is cheaper and faster, but OWC offers the memory trade-in rebate (though do you qualify if your old memory was purchased through eBay?)

I have used fry,s I have 2X1 if you need them cheap?

How cheap? And will they work with my specs listed above?

-newegg shipping is very strong, usually only 3days and they keep you informed on the process.
-you can find lower cost sources. be aware some extreme low cost vendors are shipping with a requirement you have to physically sign for the item. usually we are at work school not home.
-if any doubt what will fit your application use the Crucial site to get the proper p/n then buy.com to find the low price.
-there are local people wanting your old memory, at least on a re cycle, give it away basis. it beets having that stuff linger in your life tho.
