Iphone backups

When your iphone does a backup does the backup include music? And if not what is the best way to backup the music i have on my iphone. I manually manage my music so when i do a restore it can take a very long time,, if ya dig.. Thanks

Music is already backed up in iTunes, even if you manually manage the music.

i know i have the music in itunes. The last time i restored my phone i had to manually drag all of my music back into my iphone. Maybe iam doing something wrong?
