So I have an image set as my background that I accidentally deleted, and cant find even after hours of searching. Is there a way to either get any information from my background image or save my background as a .jpg or any other file type?

Go into System Preferences > Desktop and Screensaver > Desktop. At the top next to the preview, the file name should be showing. Use Spotlight to find it. If that doesn't work, the folder the file is saved in should be selected on the left hand side. Use Spotlight to locate the folder and look inside.

Apart from that... I can't think of anything. Unless you have Time Machine set up or you haven't emptied your trash.
