I've heard you can now run Mac's operating system on the PC (and vice versa). I've been a Mac user since day one, I love Macs, but I'm loving Apple (the corporation) less and less. I mean, everything is price-locked, which I don't know how that's legal, but then again, this is the age of free trade for corporations, rules for the consumers. But, basically, it costs two arms and a leg for decent PowerBook, which with PCs you can get all the same specs, at a fraction of the cost. The only thing you can't get is the operating system.

Which brings me to my question, how does OSX run on a PC? Is it smooth? Does it come with complications? Is this a realistic alternative that most people just don't think outside the box enough for? Or does it just complicate things?

I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone in the know on this.
